How it all started
We met during kickboxing at our local gym many years ago, but things really kicked off at the Ploegendienst Festival on May 30th, 2015. As the sun was setting, Fiona boldly asked Robin out, offering to cook him dinner.
That dinner date never happened because we couldn’t bear to be apart after that night. The very next day, we swapped house keys, and just three weeks later, we went on our first vacation to Thailand together.

Getting married
Moving to Dubai, we found out that getting married would make the immigration part a lot easier. So, on Good Friday in April 2022, we got married, making it an amazing Friday for sure!
With just two witnesses, we said our vows in a 10-minute ceremony and somehow started a never-ending day of celebrations with lots of food and drinks that went on until early morning.
It felt like the whole city was throwing us a party rather than just our wedding day.

We're not exactly church-going types, but that day was a holy experience for us. Now we're hoping to top this off with everyone in Ibiza!
